How It Works:
- Synergy Customers: $130 per kWh, up to $1,300 for a 10kWh battery
- Horizon Customers: $380 per kWh, up to $3,800 for a 10kWh battery
- Federal Rebate: Add $330–$335 per kWh up to 50kWh capacity
- Interest-Free Loans: Up to $10,000, for households earning under $210,000
VPP Participation:
To access the state rebate, Synergy customers must join the Virtual Power Plant (VPP), allowing Synergy to discharge your battery up to 30 times per year — with compensation of $0.70/kWh.
No VPP?
You can still claim the federal rebate without joining the VPP — but won’t receive the state portion.
